Spring is truly on its way where I live—something that makes poem-writing in April a lot easier. This is one of my poem-a-day efforts from this week along with the scene that inspired it.
This post is submitted to Poetry Friday, hosted this week by Diane Mayr at Random Noodling.
Nice! Hopefully we’ll start seeing some green 5:00 shadow around here!

I hope that for you too, Matt. We’re having a lovely spring, but I’m starting to feel guilty talking it up because there is still snow in so many places!

Not only is that a great poem, but the shape of a face in the sky is a great match.

To find a new way to speak about spring is truly wonderful, Violet. “Five o’clock shadow”-exactly! Sadly, we only seem to be in early adolescence. Thank you Violet-gorgeous photo, too!
