One of the things that marks a new year for me (besides putting up new calendars and trying to ignore the temptations of fridge and pantry) is the plan to send greeting cards to my close family and friends.
What better way to let someone know you’re thinking of them than to send a birthday or anniversary card in the mail? Such an act tells them you’ve not only remembered their special day, but have thought ahead to choose a card, write it out, and pop it in the post box.
