Small Art

Excitement builds for our art club’s spring exhibition – now just two days away. This past week has also been a busy one with a birthday celebration, out-of-town guests, tonight a concert, and tomorrow lunch out! Anticipating this flurry of activity, I managed to do most of my sale prep before this week. Today I’ll share some of my small items for the bargain table (all priced under $100).

I found sturdy little frames for the 4×6 inch acrylic paintings I painted this January during the Strada Easel challenge. Here is a sample of what will be on my table.

Several of those 4 x 6” acrylics will also be available with their own little wooden easels.

I framed a few of the 5×7 inch watercolours.

I sourced a combination of mats, backboards, and crystal bags (all bundled together) for 5 x 7 inch art works, matted to 8 x 10 inches, perfect for an off-the-shelf frame of that size. They hold more watercolor and mixed media 5 x 7’s.

I am also selling note cards and along with them will have a few magnets available—the foodie ones from a past year and a whole set of creepy crawlies painted on 2 x 2 inch wooden slices.

I must admit, I love getting ready for sales. It’s a lot of fun!!

If you’re in the area, we’d be delighted if you dropped by!
