Summer has arrived! School is on the verge of being done for the year and in a couple of days we will be at the midpoint of 2026!
The last few months have been exciting for me as I’ve been putting together an art and poetry exhibition. We’re scheduled to hang the show on July 2nd and then “This Earthly Garden” – a collection of 54 paintings and 31 poems — will be on display in the Inspired Arts Gallery of Christian Life Assembly from July 5 to September 14, 2026!
These are poems I’ve written over many years. My painting journey began in 2019. As I looked through my work, I was surprised to see how many writing themes have reappeared in the art. It felt satisfying to put the two together!
