t’s hard to believe we’ve just turned the page to September. Where has the summer gone!?
Actually I have had a really nice summer. Though we didn’t take any of our usual week-long trips away, I have immensely enjoyed this season at home with daily morning walks and the rhythms of a week off, a week on cooking (I share that job with hubby), managing to keep cool with our assortment of portable fans.
Because I was around town, I was able to apply to have my work exhibited in several local art exhibitions and sales through the Langley and Abbotsford Arts Councils.

The Big Tiny, a show of 4×4 inch tiny art, was sponsored by the Abbotsford Arts Council. It ran throughout June at Kariton Gallery in Abbotsford. Seven of my 4 x 4 inch tiny paintings were on display there.

Check out my gallery of Miniatures at Daily Paintworks to purchase these and other tiny paintings ($20 – $40 CAD + postage).

“Heron On Fishing Break” is available for purchase through the LAC website.

It is available for purchase HERE (link takes you to my gallery at Daily Paintworks).

Two of my critter paintings (“Masked Fisher” and “Moose Crossing”) were included in the LAC-sponsored “Beasts of B.C” exhibition on view at Timm’s Community Center from July 20 – August 29th.
These 7×7 inch mixed media paintings are available – $60 unframed, $100 framed + postage. If interested use the Contact form on this site to let me know.
Just this Tuesday the LAC staff hung the Senior’s Group Exhibition at the Langley Civic Centre, 20338 – 65 Ave., Langley, BC. My painting “Grandma’s Iron” is part of that show. You can visit this show in person until October 10, 2022. You can also view it online HERE.
